Ulysse Nardin, Locle & Genève, No. 17205, case No. 66884, circa 1910. Very fine and rare 18K yellow gold astronomic minute-repeating hunting-cased keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar, chronograph, 30 minute register, and moon phases.
C. Four-body, "bassine", engine turned and polished, hinged and sprung front cover chased and engraved with afoliate monogram, polished band. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, black Arabic numerals, outer fifths of asecond markers and Arabic five second numerals, subsidiary dials for four-year cycle and months, concentric 30minute register, days of the week, date, subsidiary seconds and moon phase aperture, setting levers in the bezel.Gold "spade" hands. M. 19''', rhodium plated, ?fausses-côtes? decoration, 32 jewels, wolf's tooth winding, straightline lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating thehours, quarter hours and minutes with two hammers on two gongs activated by depressing a slide in the band.Dial, case and movement signed.Dim. 54 mm.
