UNIVERSAL TRI-COMPAX PINK GOLD Universal, Genève, "Tri-Compax", case No. 1455027, Ref. 12296. Made in the late 1940s. Very fine, large, 18K pink gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, registers, tachometer, triple date calendar and moon phases.
Three-body, polished, replaced bezel, concave lugs, correctors on the band, snap-on back. Matte silver with emboss dart and square indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12 hour- and 30- minute registers, outer tachometer graduation, graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. Pink Gold dart hands. Cal. 481, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
