UNIVERSAL REF. 885108 EVIL NINA RINDT COMPAX CHRONOGRAPH STEEL Universal, Genève, Compax, case No. 2452853, Ref. 885103/01. Made circa 1967. Fine, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and black tachometer bezel with a Universal/Gay Freres stainless steel bracelet (dated 3.67).

Three-body, polished, tachometer graduation on the black bezel to 500 UPH, screw- down case back, lyre lugs. Black and white, luminous dots, outer 1/5th seconds track, guilloché subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Luminous steel tapered hands. Cal. 72, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring.

Property of the original Swiss owner Bought new by the current owner in Switzerland, this first generation Evil Nina has been kept in excellent all original condition. Still mounted on its original Gay Freres Universal bracelet dated 1967, the watch has been worn on rare occasions which still explains its crisp case and reference numbers on the outside caseback.
