UNIVERSAL re f.22403 AÉRO-COMPAX STEEL Universal, Genève, ?Aéro-Compax?, case No. 1206334, Ref. 22403. Made in the 1950s. Fine, stainless steel aviator wristwatch with square button chronograph, registers, tachometer, memento dial and two crowns.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed , lapidated lugs, winding
crown at 9 for adjusting the memento dial, snap on case back.
D. Matte silver with luminous baton indexes, outer minutes
and seconds track with every Arabic markers, subsidiary dials
for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers and the
memento in 12 hours, outer tachometer scale. Luminous blued
steel baton hands.
M. Cal. 287, frosted gilt, straight line lever escapement, monometallic
balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring,
index regulator.
Dial, case and movement signed.
