The watch comes accompanied by an invoice from the watch retailer E. Heuron located at 15 Rue Royale in Paris dated August 1939. The receipt mentions a Staybrite chronograph by Universal but does not have an amount listed so it is possible that the client requested the original case to be swapped immediately by a gold case explaining the French gold Eagle hallmark inside the caseback.
