A fine and rare, rectangular shaped, gilt brass and glass Repeating Grand Sonnerie Carriage Clock with Alarm, with twin-barrel lever platform movement, repeating and strike on a gong, silvered dial, Roman numerals in cartouches, gilt filigree design to the centre, subsidiary alarm dial with gilt filigree design to the center all surrounded by a gilt panel, made in circa 1870 , sold by an Asprey & Co. Antique with Certificate issued August 25, 1979.
