AUTOMOBILE VANITY SET WITH SILVER & ENAMEL ACCESSORIES & WATCH Probably French. Made circa 1915. Fine and rare, silver-gilt, enamel, engraved glass, walnut and leather vanity set for a motor car set with a keyless watch.

Serpentine with flat back and formerly with two brackets for mounting, set with a finely enameled on silver St. Christopher plaque within a blue guilloche enamel border to match the fittings, containing four cut glass bottles finely engraved with flower swags and fluting, silver lids decorated with translucent light blue guilloche enamel, clothes brush decorated to match, bevelled mirror with gilt frame, leather bound notebook, pencil and grooming set, the front set with a watch. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. Frosted gilt, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
