PRINCE ALFRED & PRINCESS HELENA ENAMEL PLAQUE BROOCH Probably Swiss. Made circa 1860. Fine and attractive painted on enamel oval plaque depicting Prince Alfred and Princess Helena after the portrait by Franz Xaver Winterhalter, set in a yellow gold brooch fitting. The two children in a highland landscape, Prince Alfred wearing Scottish traditional dress and holding two feathers out of reach of his sister.
