PERRENOUD MINUTE-REPEATER YELLOW GOLD J. & A. Perrenoud & Cie, Le Locle, No. 1281. Made circa 1880. Very fine, minute-repeating, heavy, 18K yellow gold, hunting cased keyless pocket watch.

Four-body, bassine et fi lets with floral, foliate and geometric chased decoration. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border over a glazed gold-rimmed cover. Silver and gold with painted radial Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, outer minute track, the outer border and center fully engraved and applied with cast gold floral decoration. Blued steel spade hands. 19''', nickel-plated, fausses côtes decoration, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Cuvette signed.
