JUMP HOUR WATCH "HEURES SAUTANTES" GOLD & ENAMEL Swiss, Heures & Minutes, No. 3836. Made circa 1830. Very fine, thin, 18K gold and enamel pocket watch with jump hours.

Four-body, the case, pendant and bow entirely decorated with gold foliage and white champleve enamel flowers on a black champleve enamel ground, glazed aperture for the jump-hours and minutes dial in the front cover. Hinged gold cuvette. Silver, engine-turned, aperture for minute divisions on a brushed chapter ring with Arabic numerals, aperture for the hours below. 38 mm., matte gilt, jewelled cylinder escapement with plain three-arm gold balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed "Paris" and numbered.
