HUNTIN G CASED MIN UTE REPEATER & CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD Swiss, movement No. 23279. Made circa 1920. Fine, keyless, minute-repeating, hunting cased 18K yellow gold pocket watch with chronograph and register.

Four-body, bassine, polished, the back cover with engraved foliate monogram, button at 4 in the band for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette engraved "H. Berger, Laon". White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track with fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials. Gold spade hands. Cal. 20''', matte gilt, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, centrifugal governor.
