SOLID GOLD DUAL-TIME DESK CLOCK "THE GATES OF OMAN" English, the movements Swiss. The case with London hallmarks for 1980. Fine and unusual, solid 18K gold and enamel, two-time-zone desk clock in the form of the gates of Oman with concealed dials.

Multi-piece, rectangular, engine-turned, the front with a pair of hinged gold gates set with red enameled studs, opening to reveal the dials, ring handles, arched top with grille mounted with the Sultanate of Oman Khanjar emblems, stepped rectangular base. The upper yellow translucent guilloche enamel with silver paillon Arabic numerals, the lower translucent Royal ble enamel with gold Arabic numerals, gold bezels, green translucent guilloche enamel surround overlaid with a pierced gold grille. Gold Breguet hands. Two, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring. Case with maker's mark MM, case with London hallmarks for 1980.
