Rectangular, the sides decorated with bands of opaque light blue, black and white enamel, the base decorated to match, hinged lid with a finely painted on enamel scene of a young couple talking in an Arcadian landscape, a panel at each side painted with vine leaves on a blue ground. Punch numbered on the lid flange, continental gold marks.
