Two-body, rectangular, canted corners, engine-turned sides with royal blue champlevé enamel line border, the hinged lid decorated with a carnelian stone with engraved jaspe classical roman characters feeding their cow, flanked by rosettes and with a white champlevé enamel border, translucent royal blue enamel ground, outer royal blue and white champlevé enamel border with engraved gold repeated pattern.
