18K yellow gold and enamel, open-face, key-winding, round-shaped, "Empire" pocket watch, with wandering automata (aperture at 9 o'clock) on the back-side. False-plate polychrome enamelled with champlevé décor showing, on the right side, two birds of paradise making their courtship display at the bottom of a tree where the female is perched, and, on the right side, an animated fountain.
