18K yellow gold, hunting-case, keyless-winding, round-shaped, pocket watch, with subsidiary seconds at 6 and seven horological complications: • Dead independent seconds (exterior graduation with central hand; activated by the rectangular push-piece located on the case-band, at 5 o’clock) • Two barrels with differential gears and bidirectional-winding inspired by Sylvain Mairet’s (1805-1890) works (1850 / 1855) • Perpetual calendar à guichet (with aperture) • Date of the month (subsidiary dial at 9 o’clock) • Day of the week (subsidiary dial at 3 o’clock; indications given in French) • Month of the year (aperture at 12 o’clock; indications given in French) • Phases of the moon (aperture at 6 o’clock) Cover, case-back and case-band engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) and chiselled with stylized foliage and geometric patterns; the cover with attributes of music and a mask (Comedia); the case-back with two winged lions rampant, and, in the centre, an oval (allowing to be engraved with a coat-of-arms or a cypher).
