Calibres “28 20”
Independently of our “28-20” calibre, we know several watch calibres referenced under the name “28 20”. These are manual-winding movements that run for at least eight days. They are rectangular in shape with cut corners, whereas our “28-20” is tonneau-shaped and runs for two days.
The dimensions (known as “cage”) of all these movements are 28 mm. long and 20 mm. wide (winding and time-setting crown axis); hence their names.
