Rhodium-plated brass, open-face, manual-winding, round-shaped, deckwatch chronometer movement, with subsidiary seconds at 6, made for the observatory timing contests.

Notes
In the 1920s and 1930s, the Horological School of Le Locle, Technicum neuchâtelois, was placed under the direction of Léopold Defossez (1878-1969), then, from 1926, under that of Jämes-César Pellaton (1873-1954). Eminent professors such as Robert Lavest (1890-1948) taught there.
