Red flinqué enamel (translucent enamel over guilloché engine-turning) case-back with a scene showing a beautiful, shapely, naked woman standing and looking into a hand mirror ... unless she is looking this way at a potential lover who will take her to heaven, into that strange scarlet sky!
Egg-shell colour enamel dial with radial Roman numerals; gilded metal “Louis XV” hands.
Movement 24’’’, gilded brass, going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with gold poising screws and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index-regulator.
