Silver, open-face, key-winding, round-shaped, “Empire” pocket watch, with one horological complication:
· Quarter-repeater by two hammers on two steel gongs (activated by depressing the pendant), leading to a concealed erotic scene at the time of the hour and quarter chimes.
Guilloché (engine-turned) and engraved in taille-douce (fine-cut) case-back, with, in the centre, an escutcheon; fluted case-band.
Inside the cuvette (dome), an erotic scene under a cover showing, ... oh sacrilege, a very cheeky monk in the padlock position attacking a very wild nun, … may the good lord forgive them!
White enamel dial with suspended “Breguet” numerals; blued steel “Breguet” hands.
Movement 18’’’, gilded brass, fusee and chain, verge escapement, monometallic balance (gilded brass) and blued steel flat hairspring, pierced and engraved gilded continental cock; repeater work on the main plate, under the dial.
