Mahogany and gilded “ormolu” bronze, keyless-winding, 8-day going, Neuchâteloise carriage-clock, with two horological complications:
· Date of the month (subsidiary dial at 7 o’clock)
· Day of the month (subsidiary dial at 5 o’clock)
Heart-shaped cabinet with a large circular gilded metal handle. On the door, the inscription “F. Perret / Maitre Horloger né en / 1728 à la Sagne / Conté de Neufchatel / le 10 du Mois de Mai” (F. Perret, Master Watchmaker, born in 1728 in La Sagne, County of Neuchâatel, the 10th of May).
Silver colour dial with revolving radial Arabic numerals; blued steel “Losange” hands.
Movement (64 x 44 mm.), gilded brass, going barrel, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance (gilded brass) and blued steel flat hairspring.
