18K yellow gold and enamel, hunting case, key-winding, round-shaped, pocket watch, probably made for the Spanish market.
Cover and case-back engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) and black enamelled with decoration of friezes, with, in the centres, on the cover, a medallion with the head of a young woman with a hen and her chicks, and, on the case-back, a medallion with a dog’s head, probably a greyhound; gold cuvette (dome); engraved bezels; fluted case-band; special bow for large ribbon.
Silver stamped satiné dial with radial Roman numerals; the centre and the rim with varicoloured gold scrolled floral decoration; blued steel “Spade” hands (glass missing).
Movement 15’’’, gilded brass, going barrel, Swiss lateral lever escapement, uncut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index-regulator.
