18K yellow gold, open-face, key-winding, round-shaped, “Directoire” pocket watch, with a portrait miniature fitted on the case-back, and, one horological complication:
· Date of the month (inner graduation with central index)

Case-back incorporating an unsigned miniature painted on ivory depicting a young woman, in bust form, positioned slightly in three-quarter view, face up, wearing a black dress; the miniature protected by a glass mounted in a riveted gold bezel.

White enamel dial, with suspended “Breguet” numerals; blued steel and gold “Breguet” hands.

Movement 20’’’, full plate, gilded brass, fusee and chain, verge escapement, monometallic balance (probably gilded brass) and blued steel flat hairspring, pierced and engraved gilded continental “Louis XVI” cock, polished steel end-piece, silver regulator disc.
