A very fine and unusual, gilt brass, manual wind Eight-day going, key-wound small carriage clock, striking and repeating hours and half-hours on gongs, activated by a push button on the top of the case. Jump hour and minute display with subsidiary seconds at 12 o’clock. Rectangular gilt-brass case, glazed on all sides and the top to view the escapement, hinged glazed back door, and folding handle.

Straight-line lever escapement on a gilt platform, with monometallic balance, flat balance spring, shock absorber, and index regulator. Striking and repeating on gongs, activated by a push button mounted on the top of the case.
