A fine and elegant, gilt bronze and silvered, manual wind 8-day going, hour-and-half-hour striking, repeating carriage clock with alarm, featuring Limoges School Revival enamel panels. The clock presents a black enamel dial with white radial Roman numerals, outer gold minute divisions, and is adorned with polychrome floral motifs. The lower section showcases two cherubs finely rendered in grisaille. The time is indicated by gilt "fleur-de-lis" hands. Each side of the clock is fitted with a finely painted polychrome enamel panel with gold paillons, in the Limoges School Revival style, depicting a nobleman and a noblewoman in Renaissance costume.
