Chromium-plated metal and glass, keyless-winding, cylinder-shaped, desk-clock, with hours and minutes indicates by small panels; on the top, a calendar showing the date of the month (with two apertures), and, a plate holder, allowing to interchange a small rectangular-shaped plate with the name of the month and its duration (four plates lost).

Movement 24’’’, embossed, brass, going barrel, lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance and blued steel flat hairspring, brass index-regulator.

Calendar based on the English invention patent No. 253 845, delivered on June 24, 1926, to Charles William Padgett, London, for a “Improved Construction of Perpetual Date Indicator.”.

This patent was also registered in two other countries:
· United States of America, No. 1 658 649, for a “Construction of Perpetual-Date Indicators.”.
· Germany, No. 492 011, for a “Dauerkalendar.”.

Charles William Padgett was granted with other patents related to mechanical calendars:

· Great Britain, No. 357 059, delivered on September 1931, for an “Improved Construction of Perpetual Date Indicators.”.
· Great Britain, No. 378 969, delivered on August 22, 1932, for an “Improved Construction of Calendar Holder.”.
