18K yellow gold, open-face, keyless-winding, round-shaped, pocket watch, with five horological complications:
· Dead independent seconds (exterior graduation with central hand; activated by the rectangular push-piece located on the case-band, at 10:30)
· Two barrels with differential gears and bidirectional-winding inspired by Sylvain Mairet’s (1805-1890) works (1850 / 1855)
· Date of the month (subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock)
· Day of the week (subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock; indications given in French)
· Hours and minutes of a second time zone, known as doubletour d’heures(subsidiary dial at 3 o’clock, time-setting by push-pin at 1 o’clock)
· Metallic thermometer according to the Celsius scale(half-circle graduation at 6 o’clock with “Chaud” / “Froid” indications (“Hot” and “Cold in French); not considered as a horological complication)
Case-back polished.
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals (subsidiary dial at 9 o’clock) and Turkish numerals (subsidiary dial at 3 o’clock); blued steel “Spade” and “Fleur-de-Lys” hands.
Movement 19’’’, rhodium-plated, two going barrels, gold double-train of wheels, straight-line equilibrated ??? lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished-steel index-regulator; dead independent seconds work mounted under the dial.
