URBAN JURGENSEN & SONNER MINUTE REPEATING SPLIT-SECOND CHRONOGRAPH 18K GOLD Urban Jurgensen & Sonner, Copenhagen, No. 3007. Made circa 1910. Very fine, large and very rare, minute repeating, 18K gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch with split seconds chronograph
Four-body, "bassine et filets", polished, Hinged gold cuvette, glazed back covering the movement. White enamel with arabic numerals, outer minute track, outer Arabic five minute/second numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6. Blued steel "spade" hands. 18''', rhodium-plated, 32 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance-spring, index regulator, repeating on two gongs activated by a slide in the band.
