Not to be confused with the later very small production series which was numbered on the caseback out of 25 examples initially planned, this model was the first prototype of the model and features on the caseback simply the number 1. Email communication with the manufacture reveals that in fact only between 5 and 10 pieces were ever made of this series as making these aluminium/platinum cases waterproof was simply too costly and complex. A unique opportunity to acquire the first piece ever made of the UR 102-38 in virtually unused condition since its purchase by the owner in 2000.
