Vacheron & Constantin in Geneva, No. 125214, completed in 1867 Fine and unusual 18K gold half hunting cased watch with matching gold chain, in original fitted box.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine", borders and band engine-turned in a "vermicelli" pattern the cover with black champleve enamelled Roman numerals on the dial aperture border, the back engine-turned and engraved with floral decoration and centred with a small monogram. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 1876. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold "spade" hands. M. 11 1/2"', gilt brass, bar calibre, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 31 mm.
