Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve, No. 385005, case No. 241187, made for the Corps of Engineers, U.S.A. No. 2870, in 1920. Fine and rare silver keyless watch with chronograph.

C. Three body, massive, "bassine", polished, the back engraved with the Army number. Silver cuvette. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute and chronograph ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "skeleton" hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, 20 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Chronograph with visible work, the button on the winding crown. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In excellent condition Diam. 52 mm.
