"Lapis Lazuli" Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, retailed by Black, Starr & Frost in New York, No. 312656. Made circa 1905. Very fine, unique, keyless, 18K gold, lapis lazuli and diamond lady's pendant watch with matching 18K gold, lapis lazuli and diamond brooch.
C. Four-body, "demi-bassine", solid, polished, back-rim decorated in scroll pattern set with 8 round diamonds, lapis lazuli center. D. White enamel with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track with red Arabic 5-minute markers, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Cal. 11''', rhodiumplated, 16 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, flat balance spring. Movement signed Vacheron & Constantin, dial and movement signed Black, Starr & Frost. Diam. 31 mm.
