"Two-tone Dial" Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 457638, case No. 291760. Made in 1946. Very fine and rare, astronomic, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with triple date, moon phases and an 18K yellow gold buckle.

C. Three-body, solid, polished, stepped bezel, overhanging claw lugs. D. Two-tone brushed silver with applied yellow gold bâton indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, outer graduation for the days of the month in painted Arabic numerals, apertures for the moon phases, the days of the week and the months in red. Yellow gold "dauphine" hands, red arrow for the date. M. Cal. 485, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 10 mm.
