Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 495802, case No. 335589, Ref. 4838, circa 1950. Extremely fine and very rare, center second, 18ct gold and "cloisonné" enamel gentleman's wristwatch.

C. massive, polished, wide straight lugs. D. probably by Beyeler, in green "cloisonné" enamel with a rosace, at the centre, a cock, applied gold indexes and Arabic numerals. "Bâton" gold bands. M. 12 1/2 "`-454 rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, antishock system, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Case and movement signed. In excellent condition. Diam. 35 mm. .
