Vacheron à Genève, Swiss, No. 67410, made for the South American market, circa 1890. Fine 18 ct. gold, hunting cased, moon phase astronomical, keyless minute repeating watch with triple calendar.
C. Four body, massive "bassine et filets", fully chased with a foliage and floral decoration, a coat of arms engraved on the cover with the motto: " Vis Unitas Fortior". Gold cuvette, engraved with technical details and engine-turned on the border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute ring, sunk subsidiary dials for the days of the week; the months, the dates and seconds with inner moon phase aperture. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19-, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 29 jewels partly in screwed settings, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
