Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 428575, case No. 266720, Ref. 4085, completed in April 1940, sold on 10 July 1941 to Vacheron Constantin, in New York. Very fine and rare rectangular curved, 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch.
C. massive, polished, concave central lugs, monogrammed bock. D. black with applied gold indexes and Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds dial. «Bâton» gold bands. M. 9"'-203, rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, selfcompensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Direz. 22 x 39 nun.
