Vacheron & Constantin, Geneva, No. 168216 completed in December 1888. Very fine 18 ct. gold, keyless minute repeating watch with split seconds chronograph.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, the monogram: "S.S.J." engraved on the back. Gold cuvette engraved with the date: Nov. 14, 1894. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer red Arabic minute and chronograph rings and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "fleursde- lys" hands. M. Glazed 19"', nickel plated, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, adjusted cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with special micrometric index patented on January 8, 1884. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, the button on the winding crown, split seconds push piece in the band. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
