Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 184811, completed in June 1889. Fine 18 ct. pink gold keyless watch with chronograph and 30 minute instantaneous recorder, in original mahogany fitted box.

C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine et filets" the back applied with a gold monogram: "P.J.B.". Gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 1899. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, red outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Gold "spade" hands. M. 19"', gilt brass, 20 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with a swanneck micrometric index. Chronograph with visible work and push-piece on the winding crown. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
