Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No 303997, case No 182435, completed in September 1896, sold on 10 October 1569, especially made for the great shooting contest of the National Exhibition in Geneva in 1896. Enamel painted by Lacreuze. Very fine gold and enamel, keyless fob-watch.

C. four body, "-pomme et gouge", polished, with enamel bac:( painted with a view of the Leman lake, the Mont-Blanc and a bark transporting the stones of Meillerie (small French village near Evian) to Geneva. Outer floral decoration over a blue translucent ground with the coats of arms of the city of Geneva, gold cuvette engraved with the contest inscriptions. D. white enamel with radial Arabic numerals and outer gold ring for the minutes. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 11- gilt brass, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 30 mm.
