Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 376894, case No. 342085, Ref. 4764, completed in August 1953, sold on 18 December 1953 to Chronomes St., Mexico. Extremely rare and very fine, large, astromomic, «carré galbé», 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch with triple date and moon phases.
C. massive, polished, stepped bezel and lugs. D. mat silver with applied gold indexes and Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds dial, outer graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the lunations. «Bâton» gold hands. M. 12 1/2- gilt brass, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. Dim. 35 x 43 mm.
