Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 495801, case No. 333098, Ref. 4823, completed in January 1953, sold on 7 December 1953 to Vacheron Constantin, New York. Extremely fine and very rare, centre second, 18ct gold and «cloisonné» enamel gentleman's wristwatch.
C. massive, polished. D. by Beyeler, in green «cloisonné» enamel with a rosace decoration and applied gold indexes. «Bâton» gold hands. M. 12 1/2--454 rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, antishock system, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Case and movement signed. In excellent condition. Diam. 36 mm.
