Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 318255, case No. 1900654, completed in 1901, sold on 17 March 1902, in Paris. Fine 18 ct. pink gold and enamel keyless pendant watch with matching chatelaine.
C. Four body, square with cutout corners and outer cast and pierced foliage decoration, glazed back. The gold cuvette enamelled with a painted Cupid over a black ground, with further floral decoration. Matching chatelaine with a black enamel panel painted with a dancing tabor playing maiden in classic dress and further floral decoration. D. Black enamel with Roman numerals, flanked by two painted angels and further floral decoration. M. 11"', gilt brass, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Dim. 150 x 36 mm.
