Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 344348, case No. 210418, completed in August 1908, delivered to Hausmann & Co., agent of Vacheron & Constantin in Rome and Naples. Retailed in Naples to Sig. Barone Anselmo Berlingieri on 10 October 1908, for 2400 lira. Extremely rare 18 ct. pink gold and enamel, keyless minute repeating, "Grande and Petite sonnerie" dock watch with original certificate and invoice, in original mahogany fitted box and with special vertical fitted rose-wood box specially designed to use the watch, set on a table, as a carriage dock.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished with spring loaded bezel, the back with the champleve enamelled coat of amis of the Barone painted by Rosset. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. 23-, gilt brass, double train with differential winding, 35 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Minute repeating and striking on gongs with push piece in the band, "Grand/Petite sonnerie" and "Strike/Silent" levers beneath the bezel. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In perfect condition. Diam. 58 mm.
