Very fine and rare 18 ct. gold hunting cased keyless pocket chronometer, with days of the week, awarded a Mention honorable with 680 marks at the the Geneva Astronomical Observatory timing contest in 1926.

C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine", polished. Gold cuvette engraved: Certificat de 1ère Classe à l' Observatoire Astronomique de Genève. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals sunk subsidiary seconds and days of the week. Gold "spade" hands. M. 19"', gilt brass, 21 jewels, straight fine lever escapement, brass-invar Guillaume balance adjusted by E. Olivier, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve and special micrometric index. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition with photocopies from the records of the timing contest. Diam. 53 mm.
