So-called "Lips" Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 485483, case No. 328969. Made in the 1950s. Very fine and rare, rectangular, flared, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold ?Gay Freres? bracelet.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, double-curved sides holding the "bombé" crystal. D. "Guilloché" silver with applied gold faceted bâton indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold ?bâton? hands. M. Cal. 435/3C, tonneau, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 24 x 39 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
