"Coin Watch" Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 559257, case No. 368359, Ref. 4928. Made in the 1970s. Very fine and extra thin, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch fitted into a 20 U.S. dollar gold coin dated 1904.
C. Four-body, solid, polished, straight lugs; on one side, the American Eagle, the shield and the mottos "E Pluribus Unum?, and on the other, "In God we Trust?, the effigy of Liberty, the coin opening through a push button in the reeded band. D. Champagne with painted indexes. Blued steel "bâton" hands. M. Cal. 1003, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium-plated, "fausses- côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness: 4 mm.
