Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve, No. 410246, and Verger, Paris, No. 12974, circa 1925. Fine and unusual Art Deco desk set in silver, onyx, enamel and lacquer, with matching 8-day clock, calendar and fountain pen.

Clock: Black onyx base on silver bail feet, the square section column supports of silver inlaid with green lacquer, the dial frame similarly decorated in black, and surmounted with a bail finial acting as the winding crown. Calendar: Matching design and materials, with apertures for the month, date and week day, adjusted by turning the cabochon terminais. Pen: Enamelled silver support cup with universal bail joint, the matching pen with Waterman insert. D. Square, silver-gilt with enamelled Art-Deco Arabic numerals. Matt black hands. M. Circular, nickel-finished with fausse-cotes decoration, 17 jewels, 8 adjustments, lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance. Breguet balance spring. Signed on the movement, with mark of Verger on various parts of the set. In very good condition. Dim. 13cm. height of clock.
