Ref. 4072 ?Two-Tone Dial? Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 466543, case No. 297749, Ref. 4072. Made in 1947. Very fine and very rare, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with square button chronograph, register and tachometer, telemeter and two-tone dial.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, concave lugs. D. Two-tone silver with applied pink gold faceted ?baton? indexes and Roman 6 and 12, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer minutes and fifths of a second track with Arabic five minute/second numerals, outer tachometer and concentric telemer graduations. Pink gold "baton" hands. M. Cal. 13??? 492 chronographe, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
