So-called "Giraffa" Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve, No. 488456, case No. 327706. Made in the late 1940s. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with fancy lugs.

C. Two-body, solid, polished, faceted teardrop lugs, rounded bezel. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold triangle and faceted indexes on a guilloché reserve, subsidiary guilloché seconds dial. Yellow gold "baton" hands. M. Cal. 458/3B, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, beryllium balance adjusted to temperatures, Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
