Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 381089, case No. 234836, circa 1915 Fine silver cased keyless watch with chronograph, made for the U.S.A. Corps of Engineers No 1696.

Three body massive "demi-bassine" polished case, the back engraved with the regimental number. Silver cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic mimerais, outer minute and chronograph rings and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel " squelettes" Nickel plated 1 8 ' movement, 20 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. The chronograph with visible work, the push piece on the winding crown. Signed on the dial, the cuvette and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
